- Help their working clients make informed healthcare decisions to better protect their financial and retirement plans.
Thanks to their in-house Medicare expert, the team at Sensible Financial Planning was well acquainted with Medicare and its impact on clients’ retirement plans before partnering with Caribou. However, they identified that they had several clients who also needed guidance on health insurance who weren’t Medicare eligible. They recognized that clients retiring before 65 and clients years away from retiring were confused and unsure about their healthcare coverage options and looking for guidance. Rather than outsource these conversations to third-party brokers, which comes with competitive risk, Sensible Financial Planning began looking for a way to deliver the same healthcare planning in-house, via an unbiased partner, just as they currently do with Medicare.
